I am thrilled to be a part of the Fallsmead staff for a second year. I taught reading initiative in 2nd grade last year, but only for a half a day, so it is wonderful to officially be here full time!
I graduated from Towson University in May of 2010 with a degree in elementary education. I grew up in Brookeville, MD and attended Sherwood High School. I now live in Olney, MD with my husband, our new baby girl, Peyton and our black lab, Fungo (his name is a baseball term). I love being a mommy, spending time with friends and family, going for long walks, pinning ideas on Pinterest.com, indulging in caramel frappuccino’s, and of course teaching! I am so excited for this school year and to get to know all my students. | Scholastic Book Orders You can send the order back to school with a check, or order online. Our class gets $3 to buy books for each order placed by parents online! The directions for ordering online are below: 1. Sign up at www.scholastic.com/bookclubs. On the parent page, click the 'register' button in the 'first time here?' section. Register for your own username and password. 2. When prompted, enter the one-time Class Activation Code GVK3Y. This ensures that your order is sent to me. 3. Select the books you'd like to order. Don't forget about the online only specials and discounts! 4. Send the order online. Books will be delivered to me, and handed out to your children in the classroom.
